The Work Journals may have begun in 2023 but the story begins back in 2021. I was always more inclined towards business. But I wanted experience before. I wanted to learn how entrepreneurs think. Not through books. Through examples. While also doing what I love.
I was very comfortable working in one of the best agencies of India. I was leading the campaign for our brand that sponsored Delhi Capitals IPL & WPL afterall. One day, I came across a reel that said, “It’s time to leave your job if you are earning INR 60,000 from freelancing.”
And that’s when it hit me.
I needed to do something else. I reached out to people on LinkedIn for freelancing. Hired a graphic designer. And after some days, a content writer. This group of three was my strength. Soon after, I was able to pay salaries of these two employees and also make INR 60,000 in profits. And I quit my job.
